FaceLog Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using FaceLog (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description and Disclaimer

FaceLog is a personal self-observation tool designed to help you record daily facial photos, notes, and voice memos to compare changes over time. Medical Disclaimer: FaceLog is for personal self-observation only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not intended to replace professional healthcare.

3. User Accounts and Local Data

FaceLog utilizes a "Quick Login" system that generates credentials locally on your device.

• You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
• All content you create (photos, audio, notes) is stored locally. If you delete the app or use the "Delete Account" feature, your data will be permanently wiped and cannot be recovered by us.

4. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency

FaceLog offers "Reflect Tokens" which can be purchased via Apple's In-App Purchase system.

• Tokens are consumable virtual items.
• You may redeem tokens to unlock premium capabilities such as the "Compare Anytime Pass" and the "Detail Record Pass".
• All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's App Store terms and refund policies. FaceLog does not have the ability to process refunds directly.
• Reflect Tokens have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App in any way that:

• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Infringes upon the rights of others.
• Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding user-generated content) are owned by FaceLog and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceLog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; or (b) any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
