FaceLog ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how FaceLog handles your data. FaceLog is designed as a local, on-device application for daily self-observation.

1. Data Collection and Local Storage

FaceLog is designed with privacy at its core. We do not upload your personal data to any external servers. All of the following data is stored entirely locally on your device:

• Your selfies, photos, and imported images.
• Your voice memos and notes.
• Your mood tags.
• Your Reflect Tokens balance and entry indices.

2. Device Permissions

FaceLog requests certain device permissions only when you actively use specific features. These are accessed locally and are not transmitted off your device:

• Camera: Used when you tap "Take Photo" to capture your daily face state.
• Microphone: Used when you tap "Record Voice Note" to attach an audio memo to your entry.
• Photo Library: Used when you choose to import an existing photo for today's record or for comparison.
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): May be requested in accordance with Apple's guidelines to provide relevant app tracking experiences, but FaceLog itself relies on local storage without remote behavioral profiling.

3. Account Data

When you use "Quick Login," FaceLog creates local credentials stored securely on your device. We do not require an email address or phone number. If you choose to Delete Account, all of your local entries, photos, audio files, and credentials will be permanently erased from your device.

4. In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

FaceLog offers consumable token packs ("Reflect Tokens") via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All transactions are securely processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

5. Children's Privacy

FaceLog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
